An open gate to the front yard but a locked front door kept me from going inside. A simple white house on Penn Farm at Cedar Hill State Park in Texas caught my attention and I wanted to see more.

Art Deco is on display inside and out at Chicago’s Board of Trade building, a historic landmark. This light fixture reminds me of dancers, ready to spring into action and swirl through the iconic building.
This week’s One Step at a Time #10 is a follow up to a post from a few days ago “View of the Huron RIver.” This is Delhi Metropark, one of 14 Metroparks in the Detroit area. Photos from the other Metroparks will be coming shortly.

Today’s hike for One Step at a Time #9 took me the Deer Run Trail at Kensington Metropark. I was joined by a Sandhill Crane. The crane eventually decided I stopped too often to take photos and left me behind.
