I’m imagining the wear and possibly erosion that caused them to have such a gap. Or maybe they meant to have it that way? Great doors either way!!
I have no idea how they got that way but it does add interest. Most of the buildings on this land are in need of repair and some of that has started on a few. Hoping to get back one day to see the progress.

I love old barns and their doors. It must be difficult, I would image to keep the doors from swinging too far upon entrance and exit. Your contrasts in lighting sources is superb. Great photo Pepper.

Yes, if you can’t have A/C or carry one of those folding fans like ladies used back in the day, that is the best option. 🙂
I could use one of those fans while out on the trails to scare the mosquitoes. 😁
That’s a good idea … maybe market it while you are at it! We’re lucky it’s been dry so not as many mosquitoes as usual.

I know, aren’t they fun. That’s one of my favorite posts. The weather was perfect that day. In the west it was bright golden hour sun. Lookine east toward the barn was a brewing storm. We drove by it on the way home, and my husband and I just gasped. I made him drop me off, and down the road I went.
Aren’t hubbies the best when they do that sort of thing for us? Gotta love it. 😊

Yes, they do need some work. At the time that I was there, a few of the buildings on the farm were getting some much needed work done on them. Hopefully, this barn is next.
