Beyond the Open Gate

Inquisitive person that I am, whenever I see an open door or in this case a gate, I cannot resist walking through it to see what is beyond the open gate.

This time, an opening at the fence around the Chellberg farmhouse led to a lovely garden where recent rain showers have led to a bounty of heirloom tomatoes, mushrooms, eggplant, giant sunflowers, and pretty flowers.

After satisfying my curiosity, I continued on my way down the tree-lined path to the parking lot at Chellberg Farm – Indiana Dunes National Park.
