  1. That’s a nice view … everything greened up after all that rain we had in May.

    1. It sure did. Planning on enjoying the pretty weather for as long as possible. 😁

      1. I hope so too – this is what we dreamed about in the depths of Winter!

        1. So true. And by August, we’ll be looking forward to cooler temps. 😁

          1. That’s for sure – we sure have been spoiled … I follow several weather sites and meteorologists as well. They’re all saying we’re in for a hot spell beginning next week. Sigh.

            1. I hadn’t experienced having four seasons until moving to the Midwest as an adult. I do enjoy seeing the changes through the year.

              1. I do enjoy the changing seasons too as it helps you appreciate the beauty of each season more, although Winter I would skip over even with its pretty twinkling snow moments.

                1. I guess that is why so many people around here head to Florida for the winter. 😁

                  1. Yes, the white stuff has that effect on a lot of people! I just mentioned a walker/biker in my other comment. She and her hubby leave Michigan by Halloween and return mid-April every year. They like bike riding and walking, so they got a place in Florida.

                    1. We actually considered Florida, Arizona, and Texas as possibilities of places to move for retirement. Michigan was not even on our list at first. πŸ˜‰

                    2. I think of those three states, I’d like Arizona the most – the dry heat and no worries about snow. I had a friend who despised Winter and suffered from Seasonal Affective Disorder. So he researched to find the place in the U.S. that got the most sunny days per year. I thought that was San Diego, but it was Las Cruces, New Mexico. He had a marketing business and worked from home, so he could work from anywhere; his wife was planning to retire the following year. He booked an apartment in Las Cruces for all Winter to try it out. He studied Spanish and loved it – he/wife bought a house the following year. He said “no more snow shoveling and no more yardwork” because they had pebbles for grass and cacti. He sent me a photo of himself reading in the backyard and said “it’s 104 degrees out and I’m not breaking a sweat as there’s no humidity.”

                    3. It was definitely at the top of the list for my hubby for a long time. Then a certain little 4-year old (at the time) told us she really wanted us to live close to her and that pretty much made the decision for us to move to Michigan. 😁

                    4. The idea of no snow appeals to me, but like my friend, who was also a walker, he liked the idea of the place with the most days with sunshine anywhere so he could walk daily. I can see why you would move here then. A fellow blogger and her husband lived in Connecticut their entire lives and moved to North Carolina three years ago for the same reason (but two grandchildren).

                    5. It was the right decision for us. Our granddaughter often does not want to leave when they come over.

                    6. It’s nice you are so close, not only family-wise, but in proximity. I hated when we moved here from Canada as I was close to my grandmother and we went to her house nearly every Sunday. After my grandfather died in 1969, she came over to visit every Summer for a few months which was nice.

                    7. Glad you have those memories with you grandmother. πŸ‘πŸ½

                    8. Yes, I was very close to her.

  2. Lovely – so verdant!

    1. Thanks. It is the perfect time of the year for green. 😊

  3. Loving all the spring greenery! πŸ’š

    1. Yay! It has been great weather to be out enjoying the green without mosquitoes. 😊
