Reaching the Top

Macro Monday – A bug, reaching the top of a blooming loosestrife at Wixom Habitat Nature Preserve.

Wixom Habitat- Nature Preserve

Wixom Habitat has the shortest trail that I have found but it is worth doing. I came across it completely by chance as I was on my way to another trail. I am so glad I made a quick U-turn to see what was there. From the trailhead, it is a few feet to a boardwalk. The boardwalk leads to a beautiful view of East Gallager Lake.
