With family in Ohio and Michigan, road trips to both from Indiana are common throughout the year. One way to pass the drive time is reading the freeway billboards along the way. Many are ads for entertainers coming to the casinos. The ads remind me of how much of life has moved past. My first thought is usually, “Is that person even still alive?“
With the realization of how a lifetime can zip by, a reminder of more importance is preferable. Nothing is of more relevance in my own life than the Bible and the great commandment in Matthew 22::37.
