One Day at a Time

Happiness! It has finally started to feel like spring in Michigan. Best part about spring is having warmth and sunshine to enjoy while exploring new trails one day at a time.

On this day, my adventure took me to Island Lake in Brighton, Michigan. This is one of several hiking trails and appropriately named Island Lake Blue Trail Loop. Some of the trails overlap so it is easy to take a longer or shorter route.

So far, the place I have hiked the most miles this year is Kensington Metropark. Soon there will be wildflowers along the trails and the trees covered with leaves. Photos will be added as I explore more trails one day at a time.

      Thanks, Sue. I also enjoy walking next to water. There was another paved trail that was a bit further away from the lake. I chose the muddier path. 😁
