Taking a look back at one autumn day from last year. Since it was my first time hiking at the West Bloomfield Woods Nature Preserve, I had no idea what was ahead.

On this day, I decided to try the 2-mile unpaved loop trail in West Bloomfield, Michigan. It was an easy hike with changing colors on trees and white wildflowers on the ground.

Another similar post along three different trails was featured on “What Lays Ahead.”
