Moving Up

Moving Up

A tiny bee, moving up from blossom to blossom while gathering pollen. This wildflower was growing along the Indiana Dunes National Park trails.

A close-up of a pink flower with a small insect resting on it, showcasing vibrant petals and lush greenery in the background.

Another similar image was captured at Wixom Habitat in Michigan and featured on “Tall and. Slender.

    1. Thanks, Filipa. πŸ˜‰

  1. Wow, what a beautiful shot!

    1. Thanks, Brenda. So glad you enjoyed it. Have a wonderful day. 😊

  2. That bee was really enjoying the pollen and the vibrant color of the wildflower!

    1. Yes, it was. Butterflies and bees seem to love these blossoms along the trails.

      1. Yes, I love seeing them along the trail. I have some pictures of a bee on purple flowers, which was taken in Wyandotte – it was a planter and the bee was so busy in the pollen that I was able to get some photos with its wings in motion. I must have taken 50 pictures of that bee in and out of the flowers. πŸ™‚ I am saving some of my bee and blossoms and other flower pics for Terri’s Flower Hour Challenge, when I can’t always fulfill her Sunday Stills Challenge.

        1. Looking forward to seeing them. πŸ˜‰

          1. I hope they don’t disappoint – I was excited to see I captured the whirring wings.

  3. A happy little bee!

    1. And happy me too! 😁

  4. I love the way they methodically move from one place to another. That’s a great photo.

    1. Thanks, Dan. 😊
