Glow of Tiny Drops of Dew

The joy of capturing the glow of tiny drops of dew is one of the many joys of morning. Bright sunshine provides the sparkle as the tiny dewdrops hang on until the leaves sway in the breeze.

These images were taken a few days ago at Wixom Habitat in Michigan. Not only was the sun shining brightly but there was barely a breeze. For macro photography, the slightest breeze can mean the difference between success or failure. Bright sunshine is also helpful because there is room to boast up the shutter speed if needed. Both of these were in my favor when capturing these tiny drops of dew.

An image of dewdrops with a background of green was featured on “Poised to Fall.
