Fallen Leaf

A fallen autumn leaf landed gently in a puddle. I can’t believe that autumn is just around the corner. With it will come the changing of colors and falling leaves. For now, I plan on enjoying the last days of summer for as long as possible.

“Autumn leaves don’t fall, they fly.“

Spring and autumn are my two favorite seasons of the year. Both offer beautiful chances for nature photography and comfortable weather for hiking. Nothing is better than that for a hiker who carries a camera to every adventure. What about yours? What is your favorite season of the year?

    I like your photo of the leaf in the puddle—it’s simple but quietly beautiful.
    Spring and autumn are my favorite seasons. Summer is often extremely hot here in Cyprus—today it’s 35 degrees Celsius, and it’s barely possible to even be outside in the garden. I don’t really enjoy dark and cold weather, which is why I moved from Sweden. I couldn’t find where you’re located though… where are you based?

      Thanks, Anita. I have lived in the state of Michigan, USA for the past year. We had a high of 91°F today. We get a fair amount of snow in the winter with a lot of gray days. Spring and autumn bring out the beautiful colors. 😊

    Spring and summer (even when it is hot) are my favorite, summer is so easy and free. Cold weather is a bit harder to take. 😉

      The cold weather can be difficult, especially when there’s day after day of gray. I do enjoy the warmth of summer but can do without the mosquitoes. 😉
