Trails Close to Home

Hiking close to home, two places and two seasons.

On the Left – Reflections during autumn along Proud Lake, located within 6.5 miles from home.

Below – Winter at Kensington Metropark and practically in my back yard.

  1. You live in a beautiful area!

    1. Thanks, Julie. I have enjoyed exploring the Detroit area since moving here.

  2. These are beautiful Pepper, it looks like a beautiful place to live.

    1. Thanks, Leanne. We have enjoyed living here and there are still places we haven’t explored yet.

  3. Interesting – icy in one spot, open waters in the other. My side of the street never loses the snow as the Winter sun arrives later, whereas the sun is out longer across the street and there is always a big meltdown.

    1. We must live on the same side of the street and yet, we haven’t run into each other. 😂

      1. Ha ha – yes, isn’t it annoying? We will probably still be like that tomorrow when we hit 55 degrees!

Thoughtful words accomplish much.
