City Versus Nature

City Versus Nature

Two contrasting scenes of bridges in a city versus nature.

A walkway bridge with decorative white railings crossing over a calm body of water, surrounded by lush greenery and trees.

Above, a walking bridge above was captured at the Texas Sculpture Park in the springtime. Below is a long boardwalk at Ott Biological Preserve in Battle Creek Michigan in autumn. Curious me would like to know which one you prefer.

A wooden boardwalk winding through a forest with autumn-colored trees and fallen leaves.

A bridge you might be hesitant to walk across was featured on “Across a Crooked Bridge.”

  1. For me, it’s rustic all the way! No surprise, eh? 😉

  2. The Texas bridge drew this southern gal in… it’s my pic!

  3. I prefer the rustic-looking wooden bridge as it fits into the woodsy scene perfectly.

  4. I love the wooden bridge. The whole scene is very inviting.

  5. Thank you for responding to the challenge with these wonderful bridge images. I like them both but the first is my favorite because the setting is so peaceful and I like the shape of the railings and the shadows on the walkway.
