City Versus Nature

Above, a walking bridge above was captured at the Texas Sculpture Park in the springtime. Below is a long boardwalk at Ott Biological Preserve in Battle Creek Michigan in autumn. Curious me would like to know which one you prefer.

    Both have their stories to tell. I love the rails and stone pillars on the city bridge, but the nod goes to that boardwalk, the bend around the corner adds to the mystery of what’s next.

      I am usually more drawn to boardwalks but there is something special about that first bridge. I just had to click.

    I like the second one best. It’s less regimented and more natural (although I realise the contradiction in that).

      Yes, it does! That trail I found completely by accident when I tagged along with my hubby on one of his many trips. It turned out be the loveliest autumn hike ever. 😊

    Thank you for responding to the challenge with these wonderful bridge images. I like them both but the first is my favorite because the setting is so peaceful and I like the shape of the railings and the shadows on the walkway.
