Often considered a weed, a thistle the color of amethyst.
Personally, I think it is lovely and bees seem to enjoy it too.

I never thought to use a thistle for the amethyst color and I have a before-and-after thistle, pretty, then gone to seed. I think thistles are pretty too, especially when a Goldfinch is snacking on them.

Yes, perfect Summer colors. I also like seeing them on the Sunflowers as it’s a big blur of yellow!
