I often wonder as I wander along the trails. This time I was at Van Curler Preserve in Scio Township, Michigan.
It is amazing to see the different stages of growth of a wildflower all in one place. Considered an invasive plant, this pretty plant is a Dame’s Rocket.
Other wildflowers along the trail were featured on “Summer Wildflowers.”

Beautiful macros, Pepper!
Thanks, John. 😉
Must admit I like how Dame’s Rocket looks. I had a volunteer plant in my grass this spring. I let it bloom, took photos, then removed it. : )
I would have done the same thing. 😉
Exquisite, intricate shots. Thanks for sharing!
So glad you enjoyed the post. 😊
Oh, I absolutely love this!
So glad you enjoyed it, Sofia. It was a lovely day to be outdoors. 😊
Stunning Pepper.
Nice study, Pepper. Invasives can be so beguiling!
They sure can be. 😁
These are lovely Pepper. The plant that is just now blooming is my favorite.
Thanks, Tina. I like the way you think. Your favorite flower is always in bloom. 😉
Very nicely captured!
Thanks, Belinda. 😊
Such delicate little flowers!
Yes, they are. 😊
Extraordinary, Pepper!
Thanks, Terri. 😊
Wild beauty! Excellent focussing and BG isolation!
Thanks, Indira. So glad you liked the images. 😊
Beautiful!
That’s such a pretty colour and lovelypictures of its stages. I’m often surprised to find that a plant I like is invasive …
Thanks, Lynette. Same here! I rather keep them if they are pretty. 😉
I am curious to know your thoughts.
