After rain showers overnight, I was wandering around Ogden Gardens in Valparaiso, Indiana hoping to capture some raindrops hanging onto branches. It didn’t take me long to realize that I had gotten there too late and the drops of water were all laying on the ground. As I headed back to my car, I noticed this one wispy seed pod sparkling in the sunshine. Only about an inch in diameter, it was waiting to be tossed about wherever the wind blows.

Valparaiso, Chile is a fascinating city.
That’s what I’ve heard. 😊
Great eye! The wispy seed pod looks so soft.
Thanks! The sun shining on it drew my eyes to it. 😊
An even better find…you never know what you’ll discover! Beautiful.
Thank you. That was exactly my thinking. Made it worth going out. 😁
So soft. Begs to be gently touched.
I was so tempted to reach out and do just that! 😁
Beautiful! 🙂 I’ll be taking some time off for awhile as new things come into place now. Being in a new home and taking care of my parents. But I’ll be checking in WP here and there! Have wonderful week! 💐
