A set of African giraffes were featured on “A Spotted Threesome.”
This is a good foursome of photographs displaying a threesome. Can we reciprocally expect a post with a threesome of photographs showing a foursome?

Yup, nothing fierce looking about them. These call Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago home. It is free zoo close to downtown. I used enjoy taking the train into Chicago often. 😊
I wondered where this was because I could see tall buildings in the background. That’s nice you used to go there for a little getaway.
It was an easy hour train ride from to downtown Chicago. Sometimes we’d go for a day and other times we’d spend a weekend there. 😊
That was a nice getaway then and nice to not have to drive, more relaxing.
You are so right about that. From the train station it was an easy walk to most places we wanted to get to. During the spring and summer, they also had free trolleys to get all the way to Navy Pier and all around downtown.
That’s nice – less congestion. In Toronto you really don’t need a car as there are all modes of public transportation and if you live in the suburbs and work in the City, there is the GO Train.
Nice! Sounds a little like where we lived in NW Indiana. Lots of people who lived in our area commuted to work in Chicago by train. Lots less stressful.
Yes it is. My grandmother worked in Downtown Toronto and took the streetcar for all of her working days – she started very early in the morning and fell asleep on the streetcar every night going home. Streetcars only have a conductor in the first car. She’d sometimes ride/sleep to the end of the line, then have to go back the other way to get home. I took the bus to Downtown Detroit for 30 years.
I bet your grandmother had some great stories to tell. 😉
Yes, it was funny, but it would take a while to get home again, but after her nap, you can bet she stayed awake and pulled the bell cord to get off at Lansdowne and Dundas Avenues. 🙂

Yes, very rarely would she be on the same street car that someone lived near her would leave the same time. So she was out of luck.

Excellent choices for the weak Pepper. The lions are so perfect and I laughed at the little cormorant trying to fit in with the big guys! I have no idea what the green plant is in the final image but it’s wonderful.
Thanks, Tina. The cormorant was really trying to blend in but failed. 😁 The last pic – Those were actually on a pine tree and small. I’ve assumed that they were the beginnings of pine cones but I could be completely wrong about that. . . . .I just Googled it and they could possibly be pinyon pinecones but I am not positive. Google is sometimes wrong. 😉

A beautiful and varied set, Pepper. The three lions are the first thing that caught my eye — the image sparks both wonder and curiosity, with those silhouettes in the background. They do look quite content, though. ☺️
