Speckled with Pollen

Macro Monday – A blossom speckled with pollen. A beautiful flower but with side effects for many.

When your nose does more running
than you do.

Allergic reaction to speckles of pollen.

This image was taken last summer at Ogden Garden in Valparaiso, Indiana. The well-maintained garden takes up a very small part of a larger park. It is a go-to place for many photographers because of its variety of blossoms during spring and summer. It is also a popular venue for outdoor weddings during spring and summer.. Outdoor weddings are not popular during the winter in the Midwest for some reason. Snow seems to have something to do with that.

A couple other images of flowers speckled with pollen were posted on “A Glance Back.“
