Sign Worth Heeding

Sign Worth Heeding

On a cold winter day, I found sign worth heeding on the shores of Lake Michigan. This was taken a few years ago at the Indiana Dunes State Park.

A warning sign on a snowy landscape advises not to risk life by keeping off shelf ice.

Another scene from the same beach on a much warmer day was featured on Sounds of Silence.

  1. Thin ice always manages to claim a victim around here, every year.

  2. Yep I guess so. Watching TV as a kid, shows like Tarzan, Jungle Jim, Superman, heck even Gilligans Island, I thought quicksand was more of a problem than it really is

Thoughtful words accomplish much.
