Post or Not Post

post or not post

Should I post or not post? Is it worth displaying on my blog? As I scroll through my library of images, that is the conundrum I find myself in. Will people find it interesting? Another question that I have at times is, do I post something that breaks the rules of photography? This image taken at Amboseli National Park, for instance, only shows the rear ends of the zebras.

Obviously, this time I went with posting this image simply because I like it. What about you? Do you find yourself in a conundrum at times too?

  1. I like zebra bums. They are very geometric. Took a few of those myself when I was in Masai Mara over a decade ago.

    1. I agree. The zebras entire bodies are so interesting. I would love to see you Maasai pics. Are any of them on your blog?

  2. I run into that a lot – it’s hard to know what people will find interesting. But I always find your photos interesting! ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Yup, it’s one of the concerns that gets to us all at some point. Most of the time, I try to base my decision on whether I find the image interesting or not. Then, there’s the other times. ๐Ÿ˜‰

  3. Definitely worth sharing. Daily life in Africa ๐Ÿ˜Š Maggie

    1. Thanks,Maggie. I sure enjoyed the daily game drives while there. ๐Ÿ˜‰

  4. It’s interesting to see the zebras from that angle. Now I know that their tails continue the striped pattern until near the tip. Would not have guessed that zebra tails are more like giraffe tails than horse tails.

    1. You’ve got a great eye for observation. The zebras lines are amazing! ๐Ÿ˜Š

  5. I’m glad you posted this picture as it’s quite beautiful. It’s nice to see a part of the world I may never visit in my lifetime.

    1. Glad you enjoyed the image. I never thought I’d get there either. It took my hubby to convince me that I had to get there when I got the chance. I am so glad I listened. ๐Ÿ˜Š

    1. While on the safari, I often found myself talking to the wildlife way out in the distance. Under my breath I tried telling them, turn this way. . . No, that way . . . Now walk this way. . . Stop right there!

      No, they never listened. ๐Ÿ˜‚

      1. Were they all males?๐Ÿ˜
