We need a little sunshine on gloomy days like today, but that warmth brought severe weather when the cold front came rushing in. How did you fare in Oakland County Pepper? I understood severe weather was done for the night, then my weather alarm went off for tornado warning (not even a watch – right to “warning”). By the time I got myself together to go downstairs, the radar indicated the rotation was headed to Macomb County. What a scare this was for me, the ultimate weather worrier!

Oh, my goodness! So glad you are okay. We just got back to Michigan this evening after being in Dallas all week. Our flight was delayed so things had settled down quite a bit by the time we made it home.

Thank you – it was scary having just been given an all clear for severe weather. It was a confirmed F1 tornado in Belleville that was the cause of our immediate warning. You were lucky the severe weather did not impact your flight back to Metro. I’m glad we have cooler weather for a while … had a few snow flurries this morning!
