One Step at a Time #21

This week’s hike for One Step at a Time #21 took me back to Kensington Metropark’s Aspen Trail.

    The Lotus is beautiful Pepper. I saw a lot of them today at Lake Erie Metropark and some just in a bud stage.

        Yes, it seemed like it earlier for them, but I think I always say that. You are welcome for my link Pepper. Speaking of the Metroparks, there is a new feature this year on WWJ Newsradio – every week there is a short interview with Amy McMillan, the CEO of the SE Michigan Metroparks. Today they were touting the benefits of visiting the Metroparks and trying to visit all of them and they said “one person even visited all the Metroparks in one day!” Was that you? I know you said you visited them all at once … all in one day? I looked for the podcast, it’s only a few minutes long, but they aren’t current on their website – they’re only at mid-June.

          Oh, my goodness! No, that was not me. The most I’ve done in one day is four of them, I think. And those were ones that are fairly close to one another. It took me a couple of weeks to get to all of them and that was skipping a day or two in between some of them. I can’t even imagine someone doing all 13 in one day since a few are almost an hour away from me. 😮
