One Step at a Time #13

One Step at a Time #13

It is time for One Step at a Time #13. This past week, I got to spend some time on my old stomping grounds, the Indiana Dunes National Park.

A scenic view of a landscape with a large tree in the foreground, surrounded by smaller trees and grassy areas, with sandy hills in the background under a cloudy sky.

On this particular day, I headed to West Beach and hiked over the sand dunes for some views of Lake Michigan.

A serene beach scene with sandy dunes and green trees, overlooking a calm body of water under a cloudy sky.

  3. It looks very peaceful here – solitude is nice to enjoy the beauty. Thanks for the mention. I won’t have anything to contribute this week to One Step at a Time since I time traveled down Memory Lane instead of walking on a trail. 🙂

    1. Thanks, Linda. I do enjoy solitude. No problem for not contributing this week, Linda. Your memory lane post was a fun path to take. 😉

      1. Thank you Pepper. Next week’s post will be another flash from the past, but this time only from mid-February when I took a short stroll at the Detroit River to count birds for the Great American Backyard Bird Count.

        1. Looking forward to it. 😉

          1. I hope it doesn’t disappoint – it will cool you off anyway seeing the ice and snow. 🙂

  7. Beautiful photos of those sand dunes. As children our parents would take us to Indiana Dunes when we lived in northwest Indiana.
