A touch of clouds and contrails break up the morning sky. This scene is looking up and over a sand dune on West Beach – Indiana Dunes National Park. During those few minutes right before the sun breaks the horizon, the colors in the sky change so quickly. Often, it is even more beautiful than the actual sunrise.
On the other side of the dune, Lake Michigan is greeting the sunrise. With a beach house and beautiful soft sand, West Beach is one of the most popular spots during the summer.
