These sculptures are a few from the collection Celebrating the Familiar, by sculptor Seward Johnson Atelier. Photographed at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden.

Businessmen headed to work were featured on “Gentlemen of Chicago.”

    1. They do! It is not unusual for people to take a second look before realizing that they are not real. Me included. 😁

  4. I have been to the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden and can’t believe I missed seeing these sculptures. Incredibly realistic!

    1. I think it was a temporary exhibit. I usually get to Dallas a couple times a year. The last time I was there, they were gone.

    1. I know! I think they look so believable even when you are right next to them because they are not oversized sculptures like most statues are.
