From Bud to Bloom

Macro Monday – Tiger lilies growing along the trails, from bud to bloom.

Tiger lilies grow wild along the Indiana Dunes National Park’s – Great Marsh Trail. These were captured during one of my last hikes at the Indiana Dunes National Park before we moved.

I wonder if I’ll find them in Michigan too. I guess I’ll have to wait to find out. That is, unless there is someone in the blogging world who knows what I should expect. Anyone out there?

It’s been fun already. When we got here. the autumn colors were bold and bright. It’s been rather gray now but I’m looking forward to spring.

We have light snow flurries here too. These were taken back in August and just hadn’t gotten around to posting them. 😊
