Colors, Shapes, and Light

Mingle a hodgepodge of complementary colors, shapes, and light together and what do you get? A mess or beautiful artistry?

If it was me doing the putting together, the outcome would be a complete mess. On the other hand, God shows off his awesome artistry every single day in his creation.

I am so looking forward to seeing the colors of spring again. How about you?

God created everything through him,
and nothing was created
except through him.

  1. I so love that opening pod Pepper, really gorgeous! All of the images are lovely and a wonderful response to the challenge but that one is really very special.

    1. Yay! That one has always been one of my favorite captures. So glad you enjoyed it too. 😉

  2. Beautiful macros! Nice starburst effect on the third photo also.

    1. Yay, you noticed the starburst. It always makes me happy when I see one and am able to capture it. 😊

  3. There’s some signs, here and there. The crocus are out, which is good enough for me for now. Your photos are stunning.

    1. So glad you like the photos, Sofia. I haven’t seen any crocus popping up through the snow yet. Hoping that happens soon. 😊

  4. GREAT photos. LOVE that black butterfly!

    1. Thanks, John. Gotta love butterflies. 😊

  5. Lovely series, bring on Spring!!

    1. Thanks, Donna. 😉

  6. Beautiful collection of pictures. I’m looking forward to the spring as well and seeing more colour everywhere.

    1. Thanks! Exploring Windsor is on my list of things to do soon! Can’t live in Michigan without going into Canada, right? 😉

      1. You bet! Especially when it’s that close!

        1. Exactly! 😊

  7. Pepper, no doubt this is beautiful artistry. Your photos are stunning. The complementary colors shine through very nicely. Thanks for joining the challenge.

    1. Thanks for your comments and for the fun challenge as well. 🙂

      1. You’re welcome.

  8. Lovely photos, Pepper! I’m enjoying seeing the beautiful snow, so long as I am warm near the fire! 😉

    1. Thanks, Eliza. I do enjoy snow as well but this year, I am ready to get out there to explore my new surroundings. 🙂

      1. Is it colder than where you lived before?

        1. No, not really. It’s been about the same. So for, we’ve also had less snow. In the part of Indiana that we lived in, we had lake effect snow often. We were only 10 miles from Lake Michigan so we could get dumped on. Here in Michigan, we are further from the Great Lakes. I just didn’t have enough time to get familiar enough with nature trails when they are covered with snow. 😉

  9. Yes, spring can’t arrive soon enough for me!

    1. Same here! I am so ready to get out on the trails. 🙂

Thoughtful words accomplish much.
