Colorful Details

For today’s Floral Friday, I have focused on colorful details from one place – Matthaei Botanical Gardens.

With nature’s beauty displayed indoors and out, Matthaei Botanical Gardens is the perfect place to work on macro photography. It has become my “go to” place when I need a dose of colorful details everywhere I turn. The three sections of the conservatory will take you from the tropics to the desert. The conservatory is open through the year which means there is warmth during Michigan’s cold, snowy winters.

More images from this garden’s arid desert section of the conservatory were featured on “Cry of Pain.”
