Christmases Past

In Christmases past, I often felt alone during the busyness and stress of the Christmas season. Advent is a time set aside to focus on the true meaning of the birth of Jesus Christ. Focusing on significance of that has made a world of difference in keeping the darkness at a distance.

“May the God of hope fill you
with all joy and peace as you believe in Him
so that you may overflow with hope
by the power of the Holy Spirit.”

    The tree holds the wonder, magic, and love of Christmas for me. The tree represents what Christ did for us on a tree and the lights that we add reflect God’s love for all of us like the stars of Heaven.

    What a great reminder, Pepper! During these troubling times we need to remember no mater what we see or think, God has a plan. I love the verse in Romans that you included. One of the things we love to do (ok, mostly me) is drive around and look at lights, preferrable with a hot delicious coffee in hand. I do a lot of walking now, and I enjoy seeing the neighborhood lights going up. May you be filled with peace this season, Pepper! 🙏🕊️
