  1. This is perfection!

    1. Thanks, Becky. Beautiful perfection created by God. πŸ˜‰

      1. Yes, and you have quite an eye for finding it:)

  2. All of your Africa photos that I’ve seen are wonderful. I’m more than a little envious of that experience. πŸ™‚

    1. Thank you, Earl. Africa was the adventure of a lifetime for so many reasons. I have my hubby to thank for strongly encouraging me to go on this photography safari on my own. I will forever be grateful to him for that.

      1. A great adventure! Isn’t it wonderful to have people who push us up instead of tearing us down!

        1. It sure is.

  3. Wonderful Irene πŸ˜€ The suns rays are perfect

    1. Thanks, Brian. A right place, right time moment for sure. 😁

    1. Thank you very much. Have a wonderful day. 😊

  4. A very cool shot.

    1. So glad you think so. It always makes me happy when an image works well in b&w. 😊

  5. Lovely, and the idea of sand dunes in Indiana makes me smile. Your own little bit of Laurence of Arabia.πŸ˜€

    1. Exactly! I honestly had no idea what to expect when we moved to Indiana. I was surprised at the fun I had exploring during the 20 years that we ended up living there. Thanks for commenting, Julie. 😁

  6. I like how the rays of the sun display on the sand dune!

    1. Me too! I always get excited when I am able to capture a sunburst. It does not always work so I am very grateful when it does. πŸ˜‰

      1. I’ve only had one time it worked for me – these gigantic rays of the sun angling toward the ground and never again.

        1. Right time and right place. πŸ˜‰

  7. Greats a really great capture, Pepper.

    1. Thanks, Lynette. I never used to play with b&w images until I started blogging. Some images work and others, not so much.. 😊

  8. Amazing backlit photo. I stink at these. thanks

    1. Thanks, Sue. It may not be all your fault when taking backlit photos. I think most cameras try to find a middle ground when dealing with that much contrast and on auto mode. I tend to manually adjust the aperture slightly to compensate. I bet you don’t stink as much as you think. πŸ˜‰
