Attitude From Every Angle

A superb starling (Lamprotornis superbus) posed with a cavalier attitude from every angle. This colorful adult bird was spotted at the Dallas Zoo. The starling was most definitely NOT shy! Watching it as I clicked brought a smile to my face. It seemed to have the Texan attitude that I am so familiar with.

“What is a Texan attitude?” you ask. A Texan attitude is a sense of pride that can come across as arrogance to some. Yup! I was born and raised in Texas and proud of it too.

  1. Wonderful photos. I love these east-African birds a lot, and I like the sass and courage that they have. It’s typical of east-Africa, isn’t it?

  2. […] These gorillas were definitely displaying some attitude but they weren’t the only ones. Birds, starlings specifically, were featured on “Attitude From Every Angle.” […]

    1. Thanks! Yes, the Dallas Zoo is worth one of the nicer zoos and worth supporting. If you are ever back in the DFW area, the Fort Worth Zoo is also worth visiting. ๐Ÿ˜‰

      1. Oh, my mistake. It was the Fort Worth Zoo we visited. I didn’t realize there were two zoos in the area. ๐Ÿ˜…

        1. I guess that means you’ll have to take another trip back to visit the Dallas Zoo this time. ๐Ÿ˜‰
