Are You Ready?

Are You Ready?

There’s one week to go for the first One Step at a Time challenge. Are you ready?

The first post for the challenge will go live next Tuesday, at midnight UTC. Guidelines for the challenge are below the image. A page with the guidelines is also listed on the menu above titled “One Step.” I am looking forward to seeing all of your adventures photos. If you have any questions, leave a comment below or send me an email through the “Contact” link above.

Guidelines – One Step at a Time

  1. Photos must be your own!
  2. Share one or more photo of a place you have explored.
  3. Photos can be from a recent or past adventure.
  4. Posts can include descriptions or let the image speak for itself.
  5. Title the post any way you want. I recommend using a different title from mine.
  6. Use the tag – One Step.
  7. It would be helpful to include the location of your photos.
  8. There will not be a theme for each week.
  9. Most important rule – have fun while exploring the outdoors.

New post for the challenge will publish each week on Tuesdays. First post is scheduled to go live in one week on March 17. Links can be added at any time throughout the week. Post each week or skip one occasionally. Most important rule is to have fun exploring the outdoors. Share your adventures by placing a link in the comment section of each Tuesday post “One Step at a Time”.

  1. Hey Irene!
Wishing you all the best with this amazing challenge 🙂

    1. Much appreciated. Hope you can join in occasionally. 😉

  2. Looking forward to seeing your posts from the challenge!

    1. Thanks! I am looking forward to seeing others hiking adventures. 😁

  3. Nope, not ready Pepper, 😉 … but I’ll definitely enjoy seeing beautiful nature in the resulting entries, … also love your photo above, the natural verdant archway, just asking to be walked through, …💙🤗

    1. Thanks! I’ll be glad to see you drop by and enjoy. 😉

      1. 💫🤗💙💫

  4. Since walking is the primary theme of my blog (though I stray from that topic occasionally), I will be able to share a link often.

    1. So glad to read that. I am looking forward to reading about your walks and seeing your photos. 😉

      1. Thank you – I hope to be going on many more than last Summer, when walks fizzled out when it was sizzling hot.

        1. Completely understand. I often have the best intentions and then things get in the way. 😉

          1. The weather being one of the biggest issues in my walking regimen. I was sorry to not meet my goal for the first time since I set a goal in 2012. I’m nervous about tonight’s weather as the southern counties may be impacted.

            1. Hope you made it through the night without much effects from the weather. The heavy rain woke me up in the middle of the night but all is well in my part of our state. 😉

              1. That’s good. I was okay too Pepper, although my part of the state was supposed to get hit with a possible tornado per multiple weather sources/sites I follow. I do have a weather radio, but I stayed up until 4:00 a.m. to ensure the worse of the severe thunderstorm, lightning and torrential rain had fizzled out.

                1. Oh, my goodness! That must have been worrisome. So glad you didn’t get the worst of the weather.

                  1. Me too – I do not like severe weather, having been at work when the derecho (a/k/a “The Green Storm”) hit in July 1980. A corner office had all the windows blown out – it was near where I sat and was on the 11th floor. A lot of people lost power and some buildings were destroyed. Since then and the downed wire fire, I really have become a weather worrier.

                    1. I had never heard of “the green storm” so I looked it up. That sounds scary, Linda.

                    2. It gives you a deeper respect for the wiles of Mother Nature.
