Along the Huron River

Along the Huron River

Four scenes along the Huron River as it flows through downtown Milford, Michigan. One of the most interesting facts to me is that the Huron River never meets Lake Huron. The Huron River flows into one of the other Great Lakes, Lake Erie.

We are into our second year since moving to Michigan and are constantly finding new places to explore. I have enjoyed living in a suburb of Detroit more than I thought I would. It’s great having the conveniences of a big city close by and yet enjoy the quietness of a small town.

A serene view of Huron River surrounded by lush greenery and residential homes, reflecting trees and blue sky on the water's surface.

My favorite part has been finding trails to explore. Fall has been the most beautiful season for hiking as seen on an earlier post “Fiery Colors of Autumn.”
