I can’t believe that I had not posted this image of a blue breasted bee eater captured in Africa. Since it is all dressed in green feathers, it seemed appropriate to post it on St Patrick’s Day.
This is such a colorful bird and only one of many birds spotted at the Maasai Mara National Reserve.

Yes, they are! I had never seen one before and may never see one again. I don’t think we have any in North America unless they are in zoos.
