Wilderness of Africa

Take a step with me into an adventure of a lifetime, the wilderness of Africa. This photography safari took us on game drives at Amboseli National Park and the Maasai Mara National Reserve in Kenya.

While there, Africa’s “Big Five” (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and Cape buffalo) were spotted. As a bonus, there are so many giraffes, antelope, zebras, cheetahs, and a large variety of birds.

Now, I am considering where my next adventure should be. Any suggestions? What has been your most memorable getaway?

  17. Such amazing photos. An African safari is definitely on my bucket list! If you’ve not been to Paris, I highly recommend it. The architecture and history is incredible and there’s so much to photograph that it helps you expand your photographic horizons!

    1. Kathy, I hope you get to Africa. It is truly worth it. Yes, I have been to Paris but it was way before I was into photography. I didn’t even take a camera with me. Would you believe it was back in the day when I thought photographers were annoying? Now, I guess I am annoying myself. 😂

    2. Yap.. Africa is truly magical – you should try out Uganda – you will be suprised

  18. Wonderful pictures, but so far away fromm here…

    1. I completely understand that, Gisela. With a 21 hour flight to get there from Chicago, it was the furthest I have been from home. 😉

  19. Wow, Pepper! What a post! I loved the wildlife you shared. Best of all, they were all in their natural habitat. As for a suggestion to your next adventure, what could possibly top Africa? I’m not sure, but I’m biased about the Brazilian Amazon.

    1. Now that is a great suggestion, Egidio. The Brazilian Amzaon just got added to my list. 😊

      1. I think you’ll love it!

        1. I am sure I would.

Thoughtful words accomplish much.
