Haleakala National Park

Haleakala National Park

Watching a sunrise from Haleakala National Park is one of the best experiences ever. The drive to get there is an adventure on its own. There are also many tours offered on the scenic road. Be aware that reservations are needed to watch the sunrise from 3-7 am. More info can be found on the park’s website for sunrise reservations.

Both of these images were taken on the same morning about four minutes apart. One more photo from a sunrise at this park was posted on “Layers of Light.”
