One Step at a Time #22

One Step at a Time #22

One Step at a Time #22 is from a random find while taking a different route home.

The first and third photos were taken along the edge of Orchard Lake in Orchard Lake Village, Michigan.

The image above was captured about a quarter mile from the lake on a trail that goes through Orchard Lake Nature Sanctuary.

I am so thrilled with all the images that have been shared over the last few months. Participation in the challenge has increased but most importantly, I’ve enjoyed the beauty of the steps captured. Well done by each and every one of you! Let’s keep going One Step at a Time.

Here are the links from last week’s prompt. Please let me know if I missed anyone.

  1. It’s always great to find a new route in a familiar area (we found Covid lockdowns were a good stimulus for that!) I love the greens in your second photo 🙂

I’ve just discovered this challenge so am doubling up with my regular Monday Walk post (I hope that’s OK?) https://www.toonsarah-travels.blog/two-churches-in-beverley/

    1. Thanks, Jet. I am so glad that you enjoyed the images. It has been fun exploring our part of Michigan over the last (almost) two years. There is still much to see. 😁

  6. The trail through Orchard Lake Nature Sanctuary pulls you right in, Pepper. That leafy archway opening onto the reeds and the little path fading into the green, it makes you want to step through and see what’s around the bend. The images you share always do that, they invite you into the moment rather than just showing it. Thank you for taking us along.

    1. I sincerely appreciate your comment, Ken. I love the beauty of the outdoors and I am glad some of that beauty comes trough the photos. Have a wonderful weekend. 😊

  7. Loving that middle picture, as my favorite. But they’re all beautiful.

  8. It is never a boring walk/hike whenever I go to Balcones Canyonlands National Wildlife Refuge. Here’s my entry:

Here is Sunday’s post for you. I know you liked the cutie-pie goslings and visits from the farm animals who get bored with the barnyard sometimes. 🙂
