After the Winter Storm

winter storm

I made it out to the Chickadee Trail at Kensington Metropark after the winter storm. Each squishy step on the fresh snow announced my approach to the wildlife.

Close to the Nature Center, the boardwalk goes over a wetland close to the Nature Center. The second image is a view of the wetland from the middle of the boardwalk. The last pic was taken from the same spot, looking down.

A snow-covered wooden bridge crossing a pathway in a winter forest, with trees on either side and a caution sign warning that the bridge may be slippery.
A monochromatic winter landscape featuring a snowy forest with sparse trees and underbrush.
A black and white image showing a snow-covered landscape with a small stream flowing through it, surrounded by branches and sparse vegetation.

A gallery of images from Kensington Metropark in Milford, Michigan were featured on “Hike, Click, Hike.”

      1. I have to try it sometime … I did that one image at Christmastime to show nostalgia and once when I went to a Ford Model A car show to mark the Model A’s 90th anniversary.

        1. Those old cars are perfect subjects for b&w.
