It doesn’t take much to make me content. Happiness can come from a leisurely hike along the trails. With a stop or two (or twenty) to click the shutter, of course.

While living close to the Indiana Dunes National Park, I got to know its published and unpublished trails extremely well. After judging the weather each morning, I knew exactly which trail I would be heading to that day.

Now I get to explore new surroundings in Michigan. Today’s gallery includes photos from the Indiana Dunes National Park and also a couple from Michigan’s Lyon Oaks trails. So excited that it is finally spring and that means nicer weather for adventures. If you need to find me, I’ll be somewhere on the trails of Michigan’s Metroparks. Or possibly dipping my toes in one of many lakes around here.
