From summer to fall on the same spot along the Heron Rookery Trail – Indiana Dunes National Park. What a difference from one season to the next.

Which season do you prefer, summer or autumn?

AUTUMN! Love the color and cooler temperatures.
Me too!
Wow, what a difference, I love this comparison! I cannot pick between summer and autumn, I love them both for so many different reasons!! π
I know that feeling of not being able to choose. I seem to change my mind to whatever season it happens to be at the time. π

Thank you. π
I do love Autumn colour. Can I be greedy and have warm days as well? Not too warm!
You absolutely can. π We do get some of those perfect days with sunshine to warm things up a bit and tease us before the grayness of winter.
What a beautiful spot! Love the fall colours reflecting in the water.
Me too. Reflections get my attention every time. π
I waver between the seasons; each has its own beauty. But if I think deeply about it, I like summer better.
Great photos!
Thanks and you are so right about each season having itβs own beauty. π
true! Have a great Wednesday. π
Both are nice, but that gold of fall is my favorite!
I always think that fall is my favorite season of all until spring gets here. π
I love seeing the transition between the different seasons and how drastically the landscape changes. The fall is definitely my favourite of the seasons.
The changing of seasons is what I enjoy most about living in the Midwest. A season never sticks around long enough for it to grow old. . . . yet. π
They are both beautiful, but I lean towards that golden glow of autumn. Allan
Thanks for commenting. I think most will agree with you. π
While fall is beautiful, it is the lushness of summer that fills my heart. I suggest you do a winter and spring shot to complete the series!
Love that idea. I will work on that and thank you. π
