Happiness! We just had the most beautiful day this year, Bright sunshine and a blue sky reflected on the marsh, helped temps feel a bit warmer than being on the edge of freezing. With migrating birds making their way back to the Indiana Dunes National Park, spring must not be far behind. Not only did I hear the song of red-winged blackbirds, I also spotted a sandhill crane flying high above the Great Marsh.

Beautiful photo, Pepper! Love all the blue! <3
Thank you. We have been blessed with four days in a row of bright blue skies. The sunshine makes a world of difference. 😊
Gorgeous captures. The bright blue skies look lovely. It definitely is starting to look and feel like spring.
Thanks! I have had to drag myself indoors from my hike for the last couple of days. Enjoying the sunshine for as long as possible. 🙂
Beautiful scenes, love seeing that Sandhill Crane in flight!
I was so excited to hear and then see the Sandhill Crane. 😊
Wow, looks like we’re in for an early spring!
I don’t mind that at all. 😁
I love the expectation that comes with this time of year. So much just waiting for the warmer weather before exploding into life.
Exactly! After the grayness of winter, the last couple of days have been spectacular. Have a wonderful weekend. 😊
Thanks. Very grey and dull here, not ideal for photography!
No, it is not. Hope you get some sunshine soon. 😊
