The scene below may look warm without the snow, but it is deceiving. It was a cold January morning with the sand frozen solid beneath my feet.

Haha, I know! The first time I saw a frozen solid Lake Michigan covered with snow, it seemed so wrong. The Texan in me wanted to scream out NO, NO, NO. 😳 Now, I look forward to walking out on frozen water each winter. 😂
