Three colorful birds with seemingly, a bit of attitude.
The one above is a goldfinch, I think. Feel free to correct me in the comments if that is not correct. Both finches, above and below, were photographed along the Great Marsh Trail at the Indiana Dunes National Park.
Last is a great blue heron, intent on making itself presentable at Kensington Metropark in Milford, Michigan.

Fabulous shots, Pepper! You are correct, the first one is a male American Goldfinch and the second is a male House Finch. Excellent shot of those GBH back feathers, gorgeous!! 😊

Delightful photos, Pepper! I was always excited to see finches when I fed the birds in Virginia. Great blue herons lived along the Shenandoah River in Virginia and are also common here in Florida. I never tire of seeing them. <3
