It’s Only You Again!

I thought I heard someone following me but it’s only you again with your camera.

I realize we have to share the Indiana Dunes National Park with humans but I am growing tired of waiting for you to click.

Are you done? Time to move on with my day so I am outta here!

  1. Very charming photos and story, Pepper! <3

    1. Thanks, Cheryl. 😊

  2. This is nothing but lovely πŸ™‚

    1. Thank you. So happy to see you drop by. 😊

  3. Love the commentary from the perspective of the deer. She was such a great model though!

    1. So glad to read that you enjoyed the post. Definitely fun to capture and write. 😊

  4. So so cute, Pepper!! πŸ’šπŸ’›

    1. Yay! Deer are adorable and I can’t resist clicking when given a chance. 😊

  5. I feel like the animals in the woods I hike regularly know me. The deer hang around long enough to take 1-2 pictures then they move on.

    1. I think you are absolutely right about that. I have had that same thought. πŸ˜‰

  6. They are growing accustomed to humans, for better or worse.

    1. Yes, they are. I find that is especially true in certain areas where some people tend to feed them occasionally. 😏

      1. I wish people realized that feeding wild animals actually hurts them in the long run, because if they become a ‘nuisance’ the animal loses. Not to mention it is illegal in most states. The exception is birds, which studies have found in many cases of diminished habitat, helps them, or at least doesn’t hurt.

        1. I know! I think they mean well but haven’t thought it through.

  7. Awesome take. I love giving animals voices. Great photos. I am surprised you got that close.

    1. I think we surprised each other as I came around a bend on the trail. I am so glad she was curious and stuck around long enough for me to click. πŸ˜‰

Thoughtful words accomplish much.
