From the Inside and Out

Originally built in 1864 by Christian missionaries, Palapala Ho’omau Church in Kipahulu, Maui still stands today. Though the building has been restored, some of the original pews sit inside.

The stained glass window of Jesus Christ is magnificent and I was not able to do it justice with the photo below. This is a tremendous place to get a glimpse of history from the inside and out. The view from the grounds is beautiful. Just steps away from the Palapala Ho-omau Church sits the final resting place of Charles Lindbergh, the American aviator who made the first solo nonstop flight across the Atlantic Ocean.

    1. I completely deleted my WP site around November of last year. I came back with a new blog about a month ago. So glad you found me again, Anita. 😉

Thoughtful words accomplish much.
