First Buds

Day 53 of 365

Spring’s first buds that appear in my back yard are usually on our magnolia tree and they have made their appearance once again. Soon they will slowly open into fullness as in the two blooms above from previous years.

    1. Would you believe that I’ve never seen an almond tree? I googled it and the blossoms are gorgeous! Enjoy. ๐Ÿ˜Š

      1. I’m glad you took the time to look. Google is awesome. It is possible to search for everything in today’s world.

  2. These are such beautiful pictures. Magnolia trees are stunning. I’d love to plant one in my backyard.

    1. I wanted one in my yard forever. Our home just happened to have one when we moved here and I have enjoyed it ever since. ๐Ÿ˜Š

  5. So much life and beauty contained within!

    1. Exactly! Hidden for just a little while. ๐Ÿ˜

    1. One of many things I have enjoyed about our home is the magnolia tree right outside a window. It’s blossoms are a true blessing. ๐Ÿ˜Š

      1. That’s for sure.

  6. happy Spring, Pepper! ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Thanks, Cheryl. So excited to see evidence of spring. I hope spring is making an appearance where you are too. ๐Ÿ˜Š

      1. Fall in late December or early January is soon followed by Spring in late January or early February here in SW Florida. I appreciate the change of seasons, however subtle! <3

        1. After enjoying the extremes of four seasons for a few years now, I now appreciate the subtle differences even more. I wouldn’t mind living someplace with more of a slight change in weather and then vacation somewhere with snow if I get to missing it. (As long as someone else does the shoveling, of course!) ๐Ÿ˜‚

  7. I’m eagerly watching mine, too! ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Ours just started to appear over the last couple of days. Our tulips are popping up too. So excited. ๐Ÿ˜

Thoughtful words accomplish much.
