Usually I’m all for colour, but I’m kind of digging the black and white one a bit more
This one has been so close! If my vote counts, then the b&w is behind by just one. ONE! Usually, color is a lot further ahead. π
In this instance the gold.
Whoa, it is a battle to the end! Color and black & white are tied, I think. π
Think I like the warmth of the color.
Ah, yes! The color positively has more warmth to it. π
Both have merit, but I love this exquisite piece of art in full color. π
I can see why. Maybe art is best left untouched. π€
Art is always open to interpretation, as they say, “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.” π
So true about any art form.
Black and white
It is my choice too. Thanks for your comment. π
What I fine work(Arbeit)! A wonderful art-work(Kunstwerk)!
Absolutely, the detail is magnificent. π
Yes, the detail and all details together. It looks like a paradise-bird (Paradies-Vogel) or a “Pfau”(german).
You are absolutely right. It is a Pfau. Great eyes you have. Is a Paradies vogel also a flower? There is a beautiful flower called Bird of Paradise that I love. π
Dies ist ein Vogelπ¦And such beautiful birds live in the Dschungel, in warm countries.
There is a butterfly, too, which is called “Pfauenauge”.
π¦π¦Here You see a “Puter”(Truthahn) and a “Pfau”.
π¦The butterfly has great eyes painted on the wings, and so has the “Pfau” wonderful eyes painted on his wife (Schwanzfedern).ποΈ
Perhaps I know the flowers called paradise-flower?
I’ve never heard of a Paradise Butterfly. I will look for them the next time I visit a Butterfly House. Hopefully I can get a picture of one. I think I have a photo of a Bird of Paradise flower. I will look. π
Oh No, that was my mistake. I meant “das Pfauenauge”.
No problem. π

Thank You very much.βΊοΈ
This time I would prefer color, but black and white ist beautiful, too.
Danke! (Is that right for thank you?) Have a wonderful day, Gisela. π
“Danke” ist right for “thank you”βΊοΈ
I love the first one.
The doors have captured a whole lot of attention in the original golden color over the years. THanks for you input. π
Black & white again
I am leaning toward the b&w this time too. π
Thoughtful words accomplish much.
