Down on My Knees

Getting down on my knees, as close to the ground as possible, is a must for macro shots of mushrooms. Getting there is not a problem for me at all. Getting back up, on the other hand, is slowly getting tougher over time but I don’t give up easily or quickly. This is my response for today’s daily prompt.

Is there anything you feel too old to do anymore?

Wild mushrooms were growing along the Chellberg Farm trails – Indiana Dunes National Park.

  3. I don’t do the kneel down any more… and I sometimes get asked why I don’t sit on a stool like the pro’s at football matches. There’s a simple answer to that – if I sit I won’t be getting up again🀣 Shaggy ink Cap? Nice close-ups πŸ‘

    1. I completely understand. I definitely think twice before kneeling. πŸ˜‰ Have a wonderful day.

  4. It was really hard for me to get down on my knees when doing macro shots (or even landscapes with a certain POV) when I was still recovering from the effects of a 4-month stay at the hospital. Thankfully my knees have improved but I am often too lazy to shoot kneeling down. πŸ™‚ (Leo)

    1. Oh, my goodness! I am so glad your knees have improved. 😊
