For the first time ever, I came across a hornets’ nest that I was able to snap a photo of along the Heron Rookery Trail and then decided it was best left alone.

Thanks! The only reason I knew what it was is that I had seen one once before along another trail and found out from a fellow hiker that it was a nest. I looked it up and sure enough, they were right. 😉
