After a snowfall, the Little Calumet River Trail at the Indiana Dunes National Park was covered with a sheet of white. Enjoying another bit of winter.

And just when we thought spring was right around the corner! I actually don’t mind the forest after a fresh snowfall as everything looks so pristine.
I agree. The forest is always beautiful after a snowfall. Feeling more like spring again today. 😊
Wonderful to see this fresh snowfall and the open woods, Pepper.
This is another favorite trails on the Indiana Dunes National Park, especially with some fresh snow on the ground. 😉
And this is why I missed not getting any snow, the chance to go out and photograph its beauty before it is disturbed and melted. Beautiful, Pepper!!
Yes, I would also miss getting out there the morning after fresh snow. I guess there’s some good and not so good sides wherever. . . . . except Maui, perhaps. 😂
Thanks, Gisela. Very soon it will be a very different kind of beautiful. 😊
Thanks Filipa. 😊
